Hi all, I would like to apologize due to not to update the blog, since I'm very busy about SAGC, banning and suspending some offenders and off course my own personal life. Anyway, I would like to congratulate DuskBin NAGA for wining the SAGC Grand Finale and become champion, and congratulate FMJ for winning the 2nd place. Not to forget, other teams who manage to qualify for the finals, especially underdog teams and new teams like NagaSaki ( I was told by one of the marshal that NagaSaki will change name for next year ), team #Risk that consist of players under 17 years old ( you guys have a lot of potential ) and off course TeamGameOver or TGO, which is to me they have progress and evolved rather rapidly. I was told by one the marshal that TGO have been trained too much and forgot to take sleep before coming to tournament. Guys, you guys have been rapidly evolved to become one of the most feared team, but no matter how much you train, you still need a rest. With rest, you will get your focus intact. Please bear that in mind ok?



Anyway, I'm very glad that you guys make it to the final rounds. Winning is not the issue, but participation and passion is the key. To the teams who were not qualified, there still next year to come, so train hard, take good rest and practice your teamwork and communication. All Sudden Attack players are good, only some of them a little bit better then the rest.



I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you Merry Christmas ( I know is rather too late) and a Happy New Year. For 2010, there will more tournaments, more on ground event coming your way, and I and the SA GMs will do our best to cater every players from all sort of backgrounds and age group. Lets work together to make SA the No 1. FPS in SEA region.

Been away and back with SAGC

Hi all, its been a while, well not actually a while, but months since the last update in my blog. Been busy with a lots of stuff, mostly concerning on SAGC, in-game issues, some technical stuff and other classified material that I can't say, heh. Anyway, have you guys registered for SAGC? If not, better be quick about it.

I myself wanted to see new teams for SA tournaments, especially SAGC. I want to see new faces, new team strategy and simple to say, new players. There is a lot of untapped talent out there, hiding among the Malaysians or Singaporeans players, waiting to be seen or scouted for. These talented players are what I'm looking for, to join in the tournament, show their skills and flair, and if lady luck at their side, they might get sponsored by anyone who interested.

So, get the form, fill it in and join the fray. This is the time for you to unleash your skills and talents in front of many audience, and grab the title as the Grand Champion of Sudden Attack.

Hacking proof and how we, the GMs do our job

Morning to all Sudden Attack SEA players. I have to admit one thing, the forums is out of control now and Elkantar have ask me to do something, an explanation on how we accept proof of hacking, glitching and farming and so on.

1st of all, video proof or evidence. At least, you must send a video that you can see the names on the score board AND names on the kill counter. 2nd, if the video proof regarding aimbot, we need to see the targeting reticle or cursor, without it, you cannot even appeal a case.

If by screenshot, do not EDIT the screenshot. Not even highlighting specific part to show us what is happening. Just send the screenshot as it is, the evidence is there, we can see it, there is no need for you to edit your screenshot. If you edit your screenshot, it's called evidence tampering, and in real court, you cannot make it as a case as well.

Now by now you will ask why we need those evidence like that? The answer is simple, if the offender comes to the office or etc, or facing our management and ask the evidence, we can use against him without him having the chance to counter it back. If the evidence is weak, edited or not clear, he has a chance to counter the evidence. In the end, he will escape victoriously. Do you want that to happened?

I have been looking in the forums, and saying we do not know how to do our work. We know how to do our work, but we cannot do our work without proper evidence and proof for us to explain to those who involved and our management will not accept such weak evidence as a proof. So do us a favor, stop complaining and send or give us a better evidence, a concrete and strong proof that even in court you can make a case with it. I have lawyers, cops and legislative officers as my friends, and I have ask their opinion about this, and they say the evidence on Gundam00 is too weak and can be easily countered. So please, let us do our job properly by sending a proper evidence...

Wow, its been a while since my last log. Very busy with life, work and other stuff as well, plus the fact its fasting month now, and yes I'm fasting. I need to prepare some Hari Raya stuff as well for my kids, so yeah, I'm tad busy.

I want to congratulate the winners of the Sudden Attack Girl Search last nigth at Coco Banana, Sunway Pyramid. I hope will see you girls in game more then just a cover girls.

Anyway, after the PWTC event, we having another one, a mini event to be exact, in Johor. The event is in conjunction with ECOM Fair Johor 2009 at Johor Persada International Convention Centre. This time, it will be a bit different. Instead of 5v5, it will be 3v3. So send your registration forms to my email before it closed.

Finally, an amateur tournament for SA

Good day soldiers, how are you today? Hope you are fine and well, either having fun in SA or your normal life routine. Just a gentle reminder, to be careful wherever you go, make sure wash your hand before eating. Take good care on your hygiene as well, since a lot of cases of H1N1, well, I don't want my soldiers fell sick or dying without even going to war, so take care of your health as well.

Finally, we have an amateur tournament this Saturday, 15th August 2009. This tournament will cater teams that never had the chance to show their skills on the previous tournament, and a way to nurture and prep up for more tournaments in future. I heard some concerned players about if the Pro team will show up, don't worry. This tournament is specifically for amateurs, and in the future, we will have more tournaments to cater the amateurs and the Pro team as well.

So what you guys waiting for, it's time for you to show your skills. Register your team and make sure you belong to amateur class level. Issues all over Malaysia, including Sudden Attack

Hi all, its been a while since my last entry. Busy with a lot of stuff, catching hackers, glitchers and making patches for SA. Anyway, I want to congratulate for the winners of Squad Emblem Event. Pretty nice design you guys have done I have to admit.

So for today's entry, we will wander off a bit from our normal Sudden Attack routine stuff, so lets talk about current events shall we? Last week, I went to PC Fair in KLCC, and then wanted to go to Pertama Complex, well lets say for old times sake. Surprisingly, I was stuck because there a bunch of angry mobs doing street demonstration to abolish ISA.

So what is ISA anyway? ISA is Internal Security Act, where any individuals are subjected to arrest and custody without trial if they were highly suspected for insurgence, or causing harm to the country security. So why they wanted to abolish such act which is actually there to secure our peace. My personal opinion is, I have no idea. I was enjoying my weekends, but turn up being hauled by tear gas, wow. What a weekend.

Ok back to SA. As far as the gameguard issue is concerned, those who encountering any error with SA, please send a queries to QBox for more information. Please be informed that recent gameguard updates is to block existing hacks, which is worked, well for 24 hours tops, before the hackers update their hacks. Yes, its a war now against them, so I hope players can bear with us and fight the hackers diligently.

Thanks for all the glitchers reports, keep sending them to us so we can further monitor them from time to time. For farmer cases, please send it to us as well. We will investigate all cases, will take time, but rest assured all cases are taken care off, case by case.

There will be upcoming events for month of August, plus some new contents will be released in August as well. Not too worry, its not a big patch.

Shotguns, do not underestimate its fire power...

Good day SA soldiers. I hope all of you having a good time in Sudden Attack, keep practicing and I hope more players joining in our future event, make it in-game or on-ground. So, whats the topic today? Yeah, I want to talk about shotguns, and how people always underestimate and neglect it.

After 4 decades living and 2 decades playing games, make it online, off-line or stand alone, I always see that players tend to neglect shotguns in most FPS. They would go for M4 Series, AK Series, MP Series and Sniper Rifles. Since the time of Doom, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Half-life, CS and now Sudden Attack, the trend never changed.

Why? One main reason would be mindset. Faster firing guns makes better kills. That are most of players thinking like that. Thus, shotguns always be the last choice of weapons. But, in skillful hands, shotguns are deadly. I remember the 1st time I join CS, there is one guy who always use shotgun and kill loads of people before he goes down. I still remember what he said,

"1 main attribute that you MUST have to handle shotguns is PATIENCE. Without it, you might as well don't use it at all. Using shotgun means less bullet waste and make confirm kill,"

What he said make perfect sense. Using shotguns are not like using the automatic rifles and SMGs, spraying your way through from the front. Instead, using shotguns are more reliable on tactical movement, ambushes and surprise attacks. A 1 second delay in surprise attacks with shotgun means percentage for a confirm kill much more higher.

I have been practicing a lot with shotguns since then, well I'm not that good with it, but I'm not that suck with it either. At least I understand using shotgun properly. I hope I can see some players in Sudden Attack that can achieved the title of Shotgun Master, now that I would call an achievement. Micheal Jackson is dead?! Wow

Good day all, players of Sudden Attack or surfers who like to read stuff. Today, my morning wake up call was "OH MY GOD, Micheal Jackson's dead" and I was like "huh?". Yes dear readers, he IS dead. Period. There is no such thing as Instant Respawn in real life. Once you dead, you stay as one.

So, why his demise become hot topic to talk to? Last thing I remember about him is he is declared bankrupt due to his file suit case about child molesting and he lose in the court. Literally. For present generation, they might know him as a child molester, or a freak who frequent do plastic surgery on his nose. But for older generations, especially me, known him as a very good performer, entertainer and legend that rise to the top of glory and fame in times of prejudices. Yes, when the times of Black & White sentiment still exist in this world, he prove it wrong.

Micheal Jackson can be a good example of successful legend who fell miserably in the end though. His biggest mistake was changing his skin to white. For what? Only he knows. World has lost a very good entertainer and performer, and nature activist as well, and his legend will never dies, I guess, although tainted in the middle of the way.

One thing clear, I will gonna miss his Moonwalk. Ladies and gents, Micheal Jackson has left Earth.
